The Mass takes place at 9.30am and is usually followed by a reception in the Throne Room at 10.30am. Lawyers are encouraged to robe and to join the processions into and from the Cathedral at the start and end of Mass. Transport arrangements are made to enable members of the judiciary and bar to attend the civic service at the Abbey and the Lord Chancellor’s Breakfast.

For security and safety reasons, entrance to the reception is by ticket only. Tickets and further information may be obtained from the Society’s Secretary. An offering of £30 is requested towards the cost of the Mass and Reception.

The Mass is open to members of the public and non-Catholic lawyers are welcome to attend.
